The term "Erasmate", "erasmate.com", "us", or "we" refers to the owner of the website, Erasmate S.E., Maastricht. The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of the website, including both registered and unregistered users.

By browsing and using this website and any of its features, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Erasmate's relationship with you in relation to this website. Erasmate is a platform from students for students concerning the mediation of rooms, appartments, flats, or any other type of housing. Erasmate's activity is restricted to the mediation of living space including and up to the legally binding completion of the rental contract. Any liability of Erasmate for either shortcomings concerning the mediation, or the deficiency of the object and accordingly contract breaching behavior by the subtenant or landlord is excluded.

The enforcement of claims aimed directly towards the subtenant or the landlord is untouched by this regulation. Particularly Erasmate is effectively and legally not in the position to screen the placed room offers or rent applications regarding their completeness, availability, or suitability. Erasmate does not endorse any listing; we do not make any representations as to individual character, credit worthiness, rental history, or ability to pay rent or provide accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse to list any user for any reason, or to edit content, should we feel it is inappropriate for our service. We will do so especially if any inconsistencies, untruths or any attempt to harass or defraud us or any of our users or potential users are found. Any user who is de-activated for such reason will not be entitled to any service fee refund of any kind.

Furthermore, should infringement and criminal activity violate the integrity of our service or business, we will press charges. Erasmate cannot be held responsible for any events that transpire through use of our service. It is each user's responsibility to determine the character and acceptability of any prospective tenant or landlord. Erasmate is not and will not be responsible for error or omissions that may occur, consequential or other wise. Erasmate is not a party in the rent contracts between landlords and tenants. Erasmate therefore accepts no liability in the case of conflicts between parties. The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.
